Reimagining Workforce Access

Bringing Workforce Services into the Community Through Connection Sites

NOVAworks is advancing how workforce services are delivered through the launch of Connection Sites, an innovative service delivery model designed to meet people where they already are.

Serving a large and diverse region presents real access challenges. Many residents face practical barriers to accessing workforce services, especially those already navigating economic uncertainty. Connection Sites address this gap by embedding career entry points within trusted community locations, making it easier for individuals to get started with job search support, career navigation, training referrals, and connections to employers.

Developed through strong partnerships with adult education providers, county agencies, libraries, and workforce partners, Connection Sites leverage shared networks to extend NOVAworks’ reach to residents who might otherwise be missed. This collaborative approach strengthens local systems while maximizing existing resources.

Our Connection Site model reflects a broader commitment to reshaping workforce systems in ways that respond to real-time community needs and maximize public investment. By centering community partnerships and responsive design, NOVAworks is helping create more accessible pathways to economic mobility for individuals across our region.
